The Devouring [RP OPEN]

I've noticed how some members here ... don't exactly know Kingdom Hearts much and haven't played the game... So this RP is non-KH (obviously)...
So... it goes a little like this...

The wretched humans living upon Earth have just been invaded by the inhabitants of hell. Every single millennium, portals open allowing the passage of such creatures. But as the portal opens, humans nearby become "infected" or "cursed" so that they are now half-beast. Yes, they get a power surge, but they are now important targets of the hell inhabitants because hell creatures can't fully be in power and flesh until they have drawn the blood of these half-beasts and devoured them. Simply, they can only be at full power and exist on Earth if they devour these half-beasts.
You, as a role-player, are a victim of this sudden power surge. There few portals that these hell creatures can access. Many portals have been closed.
For example, Merlin closed one of the portals with King Arthur's help. The Ancient Sphinx was build on top of the portal to forever block entrance, and a portal was also destroyed by nuclear bomb droppings at Chernobyl. Not to mention, Santa is guarding one of the portals with all his strength at the North Pole. His toy shop factory is build on top of the portal and absolutely blocked. The last millennium, all the portals were closed so the hell creatures couldn't get access into Earth... So they got really angry and started banging their heads against the walls of their hell imprisonment. Thus, fractures were created. So now, there is a whole invasion for hell creatures to attack inhabitants of Earth.

And for geography people,

| -watching overhead
-Earth
| -invaded by Hell monsters
-Water
| -neutral in war...
-Hell

A person, depending on strength and willpower, may or may not be able to control their "beast" part of themselves as well as others.

So pretty much, it's just Earth's inhabitants fighting hell like crazy. Water, Sky, and Heaven creatures or beings are neutral or uninterested...

Age: 14
Personality: Not the one to socialize much with people... pyro-maniac XD ... usually isn't mad at anyone much... but when mad, can be very dangerous... Not the one with a lot of friends; doesn't accept people as friends most of the time... Tries not to get attached or develop a bond for others. Somewhat selfish. Likes music; thus usually carries iPod and earphones around.
Beast: Werewolf/Wolf (It doesn't need to be night with the moon out to get into wolf-form... it's just won't be at full power without the moon...)
Bio: Guinevere is... what people would call a person that's not very social. Considered indifferent to most of things. She's an A Student, but not that popular at all and sometimes feels lonely. She has a hard time trusting others and getting along socially even though she longs to be like other people and be able to socialize and chill with other people. She cherishes any friendships that she has and might be willing to die to protect them. Emotionally and physically weak and doesn't really like to talk about her past...
Appearance: Usually a hoody of some kind... earphones really often along with iPod... prefers pockets somewhere and doesn't carry much else... black hair and mediocre height...

Personality: Rachel is generally a shy, introverted person, but has a strong sense of justice. She hates seeing bad things happen, but is usually too shy to actually take action on her feelings. When she does embark on something though, she's determined about it, and wants to see it through to the end.
Beast: Panther
Bio: Not too much to say. Rachel grew up as an only child with her parents, but never really had anyone else there for her. She did well in school
Appearance: Rachel has light brown hair and blue eyes. She usually likes wearing just a plain t-shirt and some jeans.

[The Gambler of Fate]

Name: Silas Malum
Nick: None
Age: 20
Personality: Silas is neither very shy, nor outgoing. He doesn't associate with many people, but he doesn't avoid them, either. He loves chaos and violence, and he teeters on the brink of insanity (multiple personality disorder and schizophrenia). His insanity actually gives him foresight, making him quite intellectual and eve, artistic (in a crazy messed-up way) at times. Another result of his insanity is that he can't control his beast form and he will probably rampage. He would try to side with the demons until he learns they want to kill him. His morals are a bit tainted, to say the least.
Beast: Gorilla-Lion-hybrid
Bio: His parents abandoned him as a child and left him on the street. As such, he hated them and sought revenge on them as a teenager. His aloneness led to his insanity. He is just wandering the streets until the invasion of earth.
Appearance: Tattered white coat (looks like a lab coat) and jeans. Wears glasses, but one lens is cracked. Has a scruffy brown beard and black unkempt hair. Has one light blue eye and one red eye. he opens one eye wider than the other (similar to Vexen)

Actually... This is an excerpt from a story I'm currently working on... XD

It was always like that. You think it's a dream, and it's not. You expect the good guys to win, but in real life, they lose. Badly. And you believe you can do something, but no matter how hard you try, get into reality. You can't do it. No matter how much you "try" or "believe". Never give up? What if what you're fighting for is pointless? What if either way in the end, you'll become oblivion?

Guinevere knew that the sweat collected in the palms of her hands demonstrated just how really frightened she was. Among the dozens of pairs of eues staring downward at her, one gleamed at her in a rather intimidating way seemingly enjoying the squeal of a reaction. A low hiss escaped from the creature's ghastly mouth, and a mist-like condensation was released unto the icy wind.

"Prey. How fortunate that we have suh delicious victimsss..." the eyelids flickered once before the body of the creature suddenly coiled for the kill.

Guinevere gritted her teeth at her horrible luck. But then again, she never had luck to begin with. A sudden prominent urge ran through her veins, and she stared at the moon.

How great... The moon is out upon the day of my death. Though beautiful, yes?

A rather spine-chilling sensation lanced up her skin. Another overpowering urge. The urge... To kill. She gnashed her teeth-- now fangs-- at the predator-- now prey. She diverted her weight and balance to her right leg before lunging forward to bash out the eyes of the serpent. Her hair bristled, and a some noise between a battle cry and a growl thrummed in her throat.

A bubbling feeling of glory that filled Guinevere with the utmost-- happiness...
A realization rid her immediately of this wrong feeling and left her bare with shame and guilt.
She dared take a glance at her "hands".

A monster... Just what AM I? So much... Energy... Need to... KILL!

The pupils of her eyes widened, and she raised her head to stare into the depths of the moon. The urge came scrambling back to her. And happiness. Oh... The HAPPINESS.

She darted.
